FLUXCONTROL SOLUTIONS

Our mission

Control is a right of ownership

Our mission is to put ownership of control and automation in the hands of the people responsible for the building. Control is a right of ownership, not a privilege — and the party who bears operational responsibility, whether they hold the deed or the lease assigned them the role, has the right to manage their own systems.

Where it came from

Born from a real building

Flux started with a working facility and a stubborn climate-control problem — ventilation, heating, and humidity that off-the-shelf thermostats and timers simply couldn't manage well. The large industrial suppliers called the situation "too complex" and priced a solution out of reach. The software route that finally worked was expensive, hard to maintain, and treated every basic capability as an upcharge.

The frustration became the blueprint. If the tools available to a motivated owner were this captive and this costly, there was room for something flexible, accessible, efficient, and genuinely affordable — built so the end user can service and maintain it themselves if they choose to.

Who we serve

The owner, first

We serve whoever bears operational responsibility for an asset — a home, a complex, a workshop, a barn. Contractors, installers, and other third parties are an avenue to that goal, never a gate in the toolchain. Authority over an asset is an assignable role, not a hostage situation: functionally, authority is a spare key — never a master key.

Delegation is fine, and sometimes necessary. But it is always revocable by the owner. Handover is a right, not a negotiation.
