Every Flux system does the same three things, no matter how elaborate it gets: it reads inputs from your sensors, evaluates your control logic against your setpoints and schedules, and writes outputs back to your equipment. Every value along the way is observable.
HVAC is the focus — heating, ventilation, mixing, humidity — but the core is built on general act-and-react principles, so it adapts to pumps and water management, lighting, and beyond.

If you buy our software, you have the right to fix it. If we can't or won't, we open the source to you. That right will be backed by contract, not goodwill: our source code will sit in third-party escrow, released to affected license holders — not the public — when we fail you.

Severity is decided by evidence — a defined reproduction protocol, not our opinion. And the software never phones home, so it keeps running whether we exist or not. Self-service, not self-destruction.
Hardware
Talks to what you already have
Flux speaks to Modbus / RS485 devices, variable-frequency drives and inverters, and I/O modules — the equipment already on your walls. Several of the building-block libraries are open source, part of a growing set of free resources for the community.
